Location:
About 150 miles west of Barbados lies a small group of
islands called the Grenadines.
One of the smallest of these is Palm Island - a privately
owned jewel of fantastic beaches lapped by crystal clear waters.
Apart from Palm Island Resort itself, the only other properties on the
island are some 20 private houses.
There are local flights from Barbados and Antigua to Union Island from
where boats operate the 1 mile transfer.

Facilities:
Recently re-opened after major renovation, Palm Island
is under the same management as Antigua's Galley Bay and it operates the
same high standards.
There are two restaurants, 2 bars, regular entertainment, a swimming
pool, tennis, nature trails, sailing, snorkelling, windsurfing and
kayaking.
This
hotel has
40
rooms:
Palm
View are air conditioned and have ceiling fan, bath,
shower, WC, hair dryer, safe fridge and patio.
Beachfront are also available
and have the same facilities except that they do not have a bath.
Opinion:
Palm
Island is truly something special - a real chance to live like a film
star for a week or two. A holiday combination with Galley Bay in
Antigua would be ideal.
